COVID-19 UPDATE: Etobicoke Optometric Centre – Closure Extended

Due to recent developments with COVID-19, and the guidance of the College of Optometry of Ontario, our office will remain closed until further notice. We are continuously monitoring this situation and will update via social media and website. If you are experiencing an ocular emergency, you may contact our team via voicemail, email or our online chat function on the website. Otherwise, you may seek assistance at your closest emergency department.

Urgent issues include symptoms such as:

✗ Sudden loss or decrease in vision

✗ Eye injury, trauma or foreign object/substance entering eye

✗ Sudden onset of flashing of lights and/or floaters

✗ Sudden onset double vision

✗ Sudden onset of drooping eyelid

◉ As COVID-19 can present itself with symptoms of conjunctivitis, we advise any patients experiencing discharge and/or redness and irritation to contact Toronto Public Health @ 416-338-7600.

Please be advised, current contact lens wearers may still place orders that will be shipped directly to their residences.
